ABOUT THE PRODUCTION
Rug Burn is thrilled to produce COURTNEY BAILEY WRITES A PLAY LIVE: A ONE NIGHT ONLY CHRISTMAS-TIME PANTOMIME FEATURING FATHER PAUL & THE SISTERS OF RUG BURN ABBEY. Join us on Saturday, December 12 from 7:30-8:30 pm at The Blue Hour Bar (3410 Wisconsin Avenue) to drink, be merry, and support Rug Burn.

HOW WILL IT WORK?
For many years now, the award-winning playwright Courtney Bailey has dreamt of writing a play… live! And this holiday season, her Christmas wish is coming true. Courtney, and the producers at Rug Burn, know only five things about this yuletide production:

  1. The play will be set during Christmas time.

  2. The play will feature five nuns (the Sisters of Rug Burn Abbey) and their pianist Father Paul.

  3. The play can be shaped by you, the audience.

  4. The script will be projected for all to read (in real time).

  5. The actors will read the play for all to hear (in real time).
